Objectives: | As a mentor you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the life of a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester as you assist them in their educational journey. |
General Role & Responsibility: | · Assist with developing academic and social skills of individual members in our Education program. |
Work Hours/Commitment: | We ask for a commitment of one hour a week from October through May as well as attendance at fun mentor/member social activities at the club 2-3 times/year |

Our mentoring and tutoring services provide a one-on-one setting to help members achieve their educational goals while being supported emotionally by a mentor. |

Program Area/Location: | Marr Building/Denney Building at Harbor Point |
General Role & Responsibility: | · provide high school members with tools and resources to help navigate a post-secondary pathway to success. |
Work Hours/Commitment: | Flexible volunteer hours from 1 hour a year to weekly meetings. |
Skills & Qualifications: | · Positive and friendly attitude
· Experience with interviewing and networking · Experience with college prep and career prep · Able to provide guidance |
