We believe that learning takes place with a continuous process of interaction between a child and his/her environment through exploring and experimenting.
Each new experience contributes to a child’s understanding of the world. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where a child can develop trusting relationships and enhance their emotional well-being.
Our curriculum involves the child in daily activities that stimulate the following areas: social, cognitive, emotional, physical, language and literacy and self-help skills.
We believe that play is truly a child’s work. Our staff is knowledgeable about methods used to encourage learning in the atmosphere of play. Children are encouraged to: experience new ideas, develop realistic ideas about themselves and others, use language in many different ways to express thoughts, feelings, and needs, appreciate a wide variety of art, literature and music, and develop the ability to fully comprehend and use mathematical relationships. Curriculum implemented is researched based and aligned with Massachusetts State standards and guidelines.
Statement of Non-Discrimination: The program is open to children ages 2 months to 7 years regardless of race, creed, religion, political affiliation, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, cultural heritage, parental marital status or handicap or disability.
