Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester (BGCD) is proud to be part of the Official B.A.A. Boston Marathon® Charity Program, with 15 entries for the 2023 Boston Marathon®. These entries give runners who were ineligible or unable to obtain a qualifying timed entry for the Boston Marathon® through B.A.A. an opportunity to participate. In addition to these 15 invitational entries, our BGCD team welcomes qualified runners who have secured their own entry from the B.A.A. and are already entered into the 2023 B.A.A. Boston Marathon®.

Established in 1974 as the Colonel Daniel Marr Boys Club, Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester is dedicated to making a positive impact on the youth and their families in our community. Inside our three clubhouses we are a place for Dorchester’s young people to learn, explore talents, play and make friends. Today, as always, our members between ages five and 18 have access to 200+ activities for just $5 a year.
