DORCHESTER, MA — February is Black History Month which is an annual observance originating in the United States that celebrates African-American history.

To kick off our celebration, our Front Desk staff created inspirational displays in all three of our Clubhouses. Each display honors past and present heroes that have paved the way for so many in our country and served as role models for our nation. These displays are not only beautiful to look at, but serve as an educational tool that allows our young members to learn more about some of the amazing role models and the importance of their history.

At BGCD we encourage our members to learn and grow and to be able explore how they too can make a positive impact in their community and to be the change they want to see in the world.
