BOSTON, MA — This past weekend, a group of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester members attended the Annual Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation Holiday Party which was held at Lombardo’s in Randolph.

Our Club was joined by 15 other Boys & Girls Clubs and youth organizations from the Boston area, and over 150 kids were able to participate in this holiday tradition. The kids enjoyed lunch, games with Nikki Alliegro, Melissa Davis and DJ Magic Mic, face painting from Fancy Faces of New England, and a visit from Santa.

Thanks to all of the participating groups which included: P448Soles4SoulsSkechersAmazon and Operation Warm! Thanks to the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation for hosting this amazing event!

DORCHESTER, MA — Boys & Girls Clubs Dorchester hosted our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for our members. Our staff decorated the tables and then prepared and served a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings. It is so special for us to do this for our members and share together what we are thankful for. We would like to thank the 20 volunteers from TD Bank who assisted and made a donation that helped support the meal.

Thanksgiving can be a difficult time for families, but our incredible partners helped feed hundreds this holiday! Thank you to Steel & Rye restaurant owner, Dan Kerrigan for donating 100 pre-cooked meals and sides, City Councilor Frank Baker & State Representative Dan Hunt for donating 60 turkeys with produce boxes, and to CommonWealth Kitchen who donated 150 turkeys and sides, that were sponsored by Liberty Mutual.

With your generosity and partnership, BGCD was able to help our members and families have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
