Get Laughing: On Friday, April 6, Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester is hosting a Comedy Night at the Neighborhood Club of Quincy. We are putting together an evening of laughs with three hilarious comedians: Christine Hurley, Tony V. and Graig Murphy. Tickets are $40 per person and include food and raffles. There will also be a cash bar. This is going to be a great opportunity to get out for a fun night with friends and family while supporting a good cause. All proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester. Doors will open at 7PM and the show will start at 9PM. Tickets are currently available online at bgcdcomedynight.eventbrite.com, and information can be found on our website at bgcdorchester.org. We have a limited amount of space in the venue and anticipate selling out, so consider purchasing your tickets as soon as possible!

FIND OUT WHAT’S INSIDE
Teen Program: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester Teen Program has a lot going on! Members of the Keystone Club have been taking part in cooking classes at Milk Street Kitchen every week, volunteering with the Challenger Sports program and have an upcoming service date with the Special Olympics in Worcester on March 10. We are also assisting teens applying for summer jobs through the Department of Youth Engagement & Employment. Many teens have also been taking part in College and Career Prep activities. A group of 11 members just returned from an overnight trip to Washington, DC to visit 5 colleges while our next sessions for the College Fellows program will be March 6 (Juniors/Seniors) and March 20 (Freshman/Sophomores). For more information contact Marcus Johnson at mjohnson@bgcdorchester.org.

Summer Program Registration: Our Summer Fun program is taking place July 9 through August 10. Programs run from 8:30-5:30 every weekday throughout the 5 weeks, and the full cost of the program is $400 for children ages 7-12 and $450 for children 5-6. Children must be members to take part in the program, and we have new membership registration each month throughout the school year. Registration for the Summer Fun program will start on Saturday, March 10 from 9AM-1PM and continue on Monday, March 12 from 9AM-4PM and Tuesday, March 13 from 4-8PM. Registration fills up on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are a specific number of spots for each age group. If the program fills up, registration will end and the subsequent registration days will not be held, so plan to come early!
