Music is an integral part of everyday life, as people are constantly cued into the news media, television, radio and more.  Most kids and teens follow the music scene closely and consistently stay up to date on the latest musical trends.  Our Music Program teaches members not only how to play various instruments, but to learn to read and appreciate music.  We offer a wide variety of classes, including voice lessons and classes focusing on cultural music and trends.  Our partnership with the Berklee College of Music allows us to offer free, one-on-one music classes to young people who would not otherwise be able to pursue this interest.

Our music program is expanding and seeing increases in the number of members participating.  Last year, there were about 100 members each week taking advantage of the music program, and this past summer, the program hosted over 200 members each week, almost all of them receiving a drum lesson!
