Think back to the many exciting opportunities and activities that you took part in at the Clubs... did you ever go to Disney or see a Broadway show with the Clubs? These are a few activities that are made possible by the Rodman Ride for Kids. Here is a chance to help give these opportunities to the current members at the Clubs! We would be honored to have you with us as we partner with the Rodman Ride for the 19th year. With your help we can provide today's generation of Club members with the same life-enriching experiences that you had.
Ways you can help:
Ride: Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester Team and ride in the event. There are three distances you may choose from: 25 miles, 50 miles and 100 miles. Each rider is asked to help raise money to benefit the Clubs. If you want to ride, please do not let the fundraising stop you from participating. Our professional fundraising staff will support you in this effort and make sure you have the tools needed to be successful.

Volunteer: We need lots of help the day of the Ride! The Ride has many volunteer opportunities available including registration, water tables, the post race party and lots of other important tasks that help make the Ride enjoyable. Why not cheer on your fellow Club Alum while volunteering?
Raise Money: If you cannot ride or volunteer, you can still support the Ride. Please consider joining the team as a supporter, making a donation and asking your friends to make one, too. Every dollar we raise through the Ride is matched with a 15% bonus. This means that for every dollar we raise, we receive $1.15 back to fund the important work here at the Club. You may also send a donation to the Club; please make your checks payable to Rodman Ride and write BGCD Team in the memo area, or call Kip Parker here at the Club, 617-288-7120.

Each year the club raises a significant amount of money to help fund the over 200 programs available at the Club today such as open art sessions and music classes, athletic programs, tutoring services, Kids Café and the Teen Center. I know that you as an Alumnus understand the importance of these fun programs. Please help us help the next generation of kids pursue their dreams and ambitions.
